Night Drive Music artists Sascha Mueller and Neurotron got nominee on Qwartz Music Award
2006 in Paris as best electronic music artists. Sascha Mueller was also
nominee with his release on Night Drive Music. We had some very nice
days and met also El Farouki and Kellyyss.
Together we did some live gigs there in "Villa Keops" in Paris, "Opa" in Paris and "So Be" in Rouen.
Thx to all who voted for us. Special thx to Alexandre Grauer who invited us and took care of us there. You can also hear the tunes of nominee on the 3CD Qwartz Music compilation who was sold 5000 times worldwide. The aims of the Qwartz Electronic Music Awards are as follows: to
present and make heard the many facets of the contemporary electronic
and digital music scene; give people the opportunity to enhance their
knowledge of this music and enjoy it to the full; support the
creativity and cultural diversity that independent production can ensure.
Designed to make use of current and future media and broadcast channels (the Internet, telephone, interactive terminals, etc.), this exposition - like the public vote for the winners of the Qwartz Awards - is worldwide in scope. 2 million people visited the website in the course of the previous editions. They were from 80 countries in Asia, North and Central America and the Caribbean, South America and Europe, including 25% of visitors from France. A gala awards ceremony (for musical and artistic excellence) closes each edition and is held in Paris (Cirque d'Hiver Bouglione) at the end of March . This gala evening, open to the public (voters in all categories), brings together the nominated artists and labels, as well as the principal players on the electronic and cultural scene: producers, artists, delegates from cultural centers, representatives of institutions and civil societies, journalists, partners. |
