Based in the UK, Damon Hatcher and Brad King are the two halves of the partnership DBK. The group was formed in 2001 and has been working on numerous house and progressive projects ever since. Brad's years of experience with the piano and bass is matched with Damon's skill with computers and synths. With a vast array of instruments available to them, DBK are relying more and more on live instruments.
The duo is influenced by a range of artists from everything to Pink Floyd to Brett Johnson. The same could be said about their sound, their style seems to adapt with every song. Fusing both traditional and electronic instruments, the group aims to create an uplifting yet mellow sound. Damon's own project however, takes his listeners on a deeper, more soulful journey.
