IKA SALI alias Michal Salaganic comes from Pre'ov (Slovakia) and was born in 1981. He got in touch with electronic music at the age of 15. At that time he knew artists like Aphex Twin, Plastikman aka R. Hawin, Orbital, Chemical Brothers, Prodigy etc. Thanks to them he knew the next steps in his life. He was inspired by the tracks he had heard and making music himself was the natural progress that followed. In 1997 he got his first computer and using amateur programs he began to produce his own music. One year later IKA SALI started to buy vinyls and to play as a DJ. Together with his friends he created the first local techno booking called Vokow and started to organise parties wherever it was possible. In 2002 he got a new powerful PC and started to professionally produce music. Besides working as a DJ he also plays and produce other favourite styles of electronic music like minimal/tech house, tribal, ambient, downtempo, progress, drum'n'bass and others. He has a special feeling for drum and bass and therefore he created the d'n'b booking Prosac together with the talented producer Snippah to organise local d'n'b parties. At the present moment he gets more and more credible as a DJ and prepares his new releases.
